ADB chief due here
JAKARTA (JP): Asian Development Bank (ADB) president Mitsuo Sato will arrive here on Sunday for an official five-day visit.
During his visit, Sato will meet President Soeharto, the Minister of Finance, Coordinating Minister for Production and Distribution, Central Bank Governor and Deputy-Chairman of the National Development Planning Board.
With ADB's program director for the eastern region, Eichi Wattanabe, Sato will visit bank-financed projects such as a water supply project, and a center for industrial technology and human resource development in Yogyakarta.
Sato was elected ADB president in November 1993. The visit will be his first formal visit to Indonesia since becoming ADB president. (das)
