PT Adaro Andalan Indonesia Tbk (AADI) recently announced it has signed a Loan Agreement effective 30 June 2026, under which the company is providing a loan of US$100.80 million to PT Kaltara Power Indonesia (KPI). The loan, which constitutes an affiliated transaction, bears interest at the Term Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) plus a certain percentage per annum and has a maturity date of 31 December 2033. The execution of this loan agreement is one of AADI’s strategies to develop the company’s business. AADI is also seeking to maximise the company’s financial potential and network, which can ultimately generate a healthy rate of return for shareholders. “This Loan Agreement aims to provide support for KPI’s business activities, including capital expenditure for project development purposes and other uses,” AADI Management stated in an information disclosure on Friday (3/7/2026). This transaction will provide broader business development support for KPI. Therefore, AADI hopes this transaction can deliver positive value for both parties, support the company’s objectives regarding business development, and maximise the rate of return in a more effective and efficient manner. “The company has thoroughly understood KPI’s financial condition and operational needs, so that the loan funds can be used appropriately and in accordance with the assessment,” concluded AADI Management.
