Adapundi's Ramadan CSR Programme Targets Children with Multiple Disabilities
Fintech company Adapundi has partnered with Yayasan Sayap Ibu (Sayap Ibu Foundation) as part of its 2026 Ramadan corporate social responsibility initiative. The foundation was selected due to its historic status, having been established by Sulistina Sutomo, the wife of National Hero Bung Tomo, on 25 May 1955.
This mission was subsequently expanded by Johanna Sunarti Nasution, wife of General AH Nasution, who elevated the foundation’s vision to a national scale and led the establishment of Yayasan Sayap Ibu Jakarta Branch (Bintaro) on 1 October 2005. YSI Bintaro plays a strategic role in caring for children with multiple disabilities (multidisabilities) including Hydrocephalus, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome.
One of the foundation’s major achievements has been the establishment of Sekolah Khusus Sayap Ibu (Sayap Ibu Special School), the first educational institution in Banten province dedicated exclusively to supporting those with multi-disabilities. Students are empowered through vocational skills training that produces economically valuable products, including prayer beads, mats and mobile phone straps, as well as personal care items such as balm, hand cream and cushions.
Adapundi Chief Executive Achmad Indrawan stated that as a fintech company, the firm believes business growth must progress alongside meaningful social contribution. “Through Pundi Kebaikan Ramadan (Ramadan Goodness Pundi), Adapundi wishes to demonstrate that the fintech industry can also play an active role in promoting social inclusivity, particularly for disabled children who still require broader support from various parties,” he said in Jakarta on Monday (9 March 2026).
In implementing the programme, Adapundi donated two sewing machines and office supplies to support the foundation’s operations. Renowati Hardjosubroto, Secretary and Head of Development and Community Services at Yayasan Sayap Ibu Bintaro, expressed appreciation for the company’s commitment to the foundation.
“Support and assistance from Adapundi is extremely important for expanding opportunities for our children to obtain services, skills training and hope for a more independent future,” said Renowati.
