Adam loses in pool worlds
JAKARTA: Adam Abdurrahim brought Indonesia's campaign in the World Pool Championship to an end on Thursday, losing in the last 64 in Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei.
Adam, who compiled a 4-3 win-loss record in his qualification group along with former world champion Efren Reyes of the Philippines, lost to Andreas Roschkowsky of Germany 2-10, according to www.worldpoolchampionship.com.
Adam's compatriot Siau Wieto was eliminated in the qualifying section, with one win and six losses.
The World Pool Championship, with 128 entrants, offers a total purse of US$350,000. -- JP
