Police have revealed the moment celebrity influencer Adam Deni Gearaka (30) vandalised a shop house in North Jakarta. Adam Deni brandished an airsoft gun to intimidate the victim. North Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief of Criminal Investigation, AKP Bima Sakti, explained that the incident occurred on Wednesday (17/6/2026) when Adam Deni arrived at the location. Adam Deni came to the location due to a dispute with the shop owner. Upon arrival, he immediately displayed the airsoft gun he was carrying. “It was tucked behind his trousers, behind his back. He lifted his shirt and said something like, ‘Do you know what this is?’ That’s what he said. He threatened the witness who was there,” Bima said when contacted on Tuesday (23/6). He told police he did this to frighten the shop owner. The victim felt scared when Adam Deni brandished the airsoft gun. “The victim’s reaction was one of feeling threatened,” he stated. Adam Deni then left the scene and returned again on Thursday (18/6). It was at that time that Adam Deni committed the vandalism, prompting the victim to report him to the police via the 110 service. Police moved in and secured Adam Deni at the scene with the existing evidence. Adam Deni admitted he was fully conscious when carrying out his actions. “The urine test result was negative, confirming he was conscious during his actions. He has not yet shown any remorse. It is true, as previously reported, that he has a prior case at Bareskrim with a sentence of about one year,” he explained. Adam Deni has now been named a suspect and is detained. He is charged under Article 306 of the 2023 Criminal Code concerning possession of objects suspected to be firearms, as well as Article 521 of the 2023 Criminal Code concerning vandalism, with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
