Actress to give beauty tips

YOGYAKARTA: The five-star Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta Hotel on Jl. Palagan Tentara Pelajar is due to hold a discussion on feminine beauty on Monday, March 22, 2004, presented by noted actress and presenter Ira Wibowo.

The show, titled Obrolan Cantik, which will be hosted by compere Dave Hendrik, will also include fashion designer Susie Hedijanto, make-up beautician Qiqi Franky and beauty advisor Yan Ismail of Clinique cosmetics.

"Ira will talk about how to look not just beautiful, but attractive as well. She will also share tips on maintaining her fresh appearance both at home and while traveling," said the hotel's public relations officer, Jeni Handayani Ratnasari.

Fashion designer Susie Hedijato will share the secrets of mixing and matching fashion colors, patterns and designs, as well as the latest in fashion. She will also present some of her most recent creations under four central themes -- Mix Relief, Tropical Harmony, Peta and Papua.

"All are expressed as modern and elegant designs, such as in the tunic, palazzo, capri, bustier, blues, sackdress and stolla styles, and will be shown by top models, Arzety, Abel, Nonny, Nien, Endhita, Restu, Sascha and others from Jakarta," Jeni said.

Jeni also said that tickets for the event were Rp 50,000 nett per person including high tea. --JP
