The case originated on 31 December 2024, at approximately 14.00 WIB, when Rifaldi received methamphetamine from defendant Ammar by meeting him directly on the stairs of Block 1 at Salemba Detention Centre.

After obtaining the methamphetamine, Rifaldi contacted Ko Andi using the Zangi messaging application on his mobile phone.

Asep was then instructed to proceed to type 3 stairs in Block T to retrieve items concealed within a Gudang Garam Filter cigarette packet containing methamphetamine.

After obtaining the methamphetamine, Asep immediately took it to his cell to sell jointly with Ardian.

The defendants’ actions are regulated and subject to penalties under Article 112 paragraph (2) read in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
