Active Children Need Practical and Comfortable Wound Protection
Children, known for their playful, exploratory, and highly mobile nature, often suffer minor wounds such as scratches and abrasions. In such cases, appropriate wound protection is crucial to ensure optimal healing while minimising exposure to dirt and bacteria.
In light of this, Hansaplast Aqua Protect Kids has been introduced as a specialised plaster for children designed to provide effective protection against minor wounds during active play.
Vivilya Lukman, BU Health Care Director at PT Beiersdorf Indonesia, stated that parents’ needs for wound care products now extend beyond effective protection to include comfort and practicality in children’s daily activities.

Through Aqua Protect Kids, we aim to ensure children stay active while parents feel more at ease,’ said Vivilya, according to a written statement received on Friday (29 May).
Hansaplast Aqua Protect Kids features a Bacterial Shield claimed to block 99% of bacteria and dirt. Additionally, its 100% waterproof design protects wounds from water during outdoor play and activities.
Noorlintang Suminar, co-founder of Kelap Kelip and a mother, highlighted the importance of prompt and appropriate wound treatment, especially when supervising highly mobile children.
‘As a mother and film industry practitioner working with children, I understand the importance of proper risk management, including wound care. For instance, on set, risks must be addressed quickly, safely, and while maintaining the children’s positive mood,’ she said.
She added that practical wound care products help children stay comfortable during activities, allowing parents and caregivers to feel more at ease.
With this product launch, Hansaplast believes the demand for practical, hygienic, and comfortable wound care solutions among modern families will continue to rise as children’s daily activities increase.
