Acting Regent of Cilacap Reveals 100 Fictitious Nutrition Service Points, Some Located in Cemeteries
Acting Regent of Cilacap, Ammy Amalia Fatma Surya, has revealed startling findings regarding the registration of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) points in her region. Of the more than 300 points recorded, approximately 100 SPPG points are suspected to be fictitious, as no buildings or supporting operational activity were found.
Ammy stated that the findings came to light after field inspections were conducted by SPPG heads appointed by the central National Nutrition Agency (BGN). The results showed that a number of registered points were located in areas impossible to serve as service facilities.
"Around more than 300 points have appeared in Cilacap Regency. After being visited by the SPPG heads appointed by the central BGN, there were roughly 100 points with no building whatsoever. Some were in the middle of the forest, some in the middle of rice fields, and some in the middle of a cemetery," Ammy said when contacted for confirmation.
According to her, the findings strengthen suspicions of a practice involving the buying and selling of points or the registration of fictitious points within the SPPG programme. The issue is now a serious concern for the local government and related parties.
"So, the issue of buying and selling points, and fictitious points which are indeed real, this is what we must fix," she said.
Ammy explained that a number of registered points were even still being offered for sale to other parties. This condition indicates that some points lack clear infrastructure readiness or legality.
"So the point exists, but it is still being offered around, whether anyone wants to buy it or not," she revealed.
She added that the majority of the points in question were known to be registered under the name of a foundation bearing the name of Deputy Head of BGN, Sony Sanjaya.
"Yes, on average the foundations carry Sony’s name," she stated.
As a follow-up, the results of the latest meeting with the investigation team sent by the Head of BGN, through the central ranks, decided to temporarily halt the opening of new SPPG points in Cilacap.
