Acting Secretary General of the People’s Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia (MPR RI) Siti Fauziah has conveyed a number of updates in the organisation of the 2026 MPR RI Four Pillars Quiz Competition (LCC). These innovations include improvements to the scoring system, strengthening of oversight mechanisms, and the addition of award categories to enhance the quality of the competition. This was stated by Siti Fauziah after presenting trophies and medals to SMAN 2 Katingan Kuala, which was crowned Champion I of the MPR RI Four Pillars LCC at the high school level for Central Kalimantan Province on Saturday (13/6). Siti Fauziah, familiarly known as Titi, explained that a comprehensive evaluation was carried out on various technical aspects of the contest so that the LCC implementation would be transparent, objective and accountable. The use of a monitoring system is one of the changes applied. This allows the panel of judges and the committee to review if there are differences of opinion in the assessment process. “In the LCC championship, there is now a Monitoring system. If there are issues or disagreements in the assessment, we can view the replay. Then, we also involve more regional judges,” said Titi in a written statement on Sunday (14/6/2026). In addition, MPR RI requires all judges to use Monitor Headphones during the competition. This step was taken to ensure that every participant’s answer can be heard clearly, thereby minimizing potential scoring errors. “We evaluated many technical aspects of the competition. Now, judges must also use headphones. It is mandatory so that they can hear the participants’ answers more clearly,” she said. The Best Yell Appreciation is now present as a new category in the LCC. This award is given to participants who are able to display creativity and national spirit through the yells they perform at the beginning of the competition. Titi explained that the assessment does not only focus on the enthusiasm shown by the participants, but also pays attention to elements of regional culture, nationalism, and the ability to appropriately combine the use of regional languages, Indonesian, and foreign languages. “We now assess these yells with the hope that participants will display creations with regional, national, and international flavours. I personally see good use of regional languages, foreign languages, and Indonesian from the material presented,” she said. Several high schools won the Best Yell Appreciation award at the 2026 MPR RI Four Pillars LCC for Central Kalimantan Province: Best Yell Appreciation in Preliminary Round 1 was awarded to SMAN 1 Pangkalan Bun; Best Yell Appreciation in Preliminary Round 2 to SMAN 1 Kuala Kurun; and Best Yell Appreciation in Preliminary Round 3 to SMAN 1 Buntok. Titi hopes that this category can be maintained until the Grand Final of the MPR RI Four Pillars LCC in Jakarta as a space for participants to express creativity while strengthening their understanding of national values. “The hope is that this Best Yell Appreciation will continue to be held until the Grand Final in Jakarta,” she concluded.
