Acting MPR RI Secretary General Impressed with Riau's Four Pillars LCC Participants
Jakarta - The Acting Secretary General of the MPR RI, Siti Fauziah, admitted she was impressed with the national insight of the participants in the selection for the Four Pillars MPR Smart Quiz (LCC) 2026 at the Riau provincial level, held in Pekanbaru, Riau, on Saturday (25/4). “I see they have quite good memorisation, and interestingly, they also seem to understand and even implement it in daily life. Although it still appears dominated by one person in the team, overall it is already quite good,” she said in a statement received in Jakarta on Sunday. Siti, who was appointed as one of the judges in the event, stated that this competition is not merely about competing, but also serves as a means to strengthen ties and nurture sportsmanship among the participants. “The competition must remain sporting and maintain unity because those who will represent at the national level are not just the school’s name, but the province’s name,” she said. She also appreciated the participants from nine schools who successfully advanced to the provincial final stage. The nine schools are SMAS Plus Taruna Andalan, SMA Santo Tarcisius Dumai, SMA Negeri 1 Bandar Seikijang, SMK Negeri 1 Batang Gansal, Sekolah Kristen Kalam Kudus Selatpanjang, SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu, SMAS Cendana Mandau, SMA Negeri Plus Provinsi Riau, and SMA Negeri 1 Rengat. Each school is represented by 10 male and female students. “This means they are all selected, already tested. That is already an achievement. So, I emphasise not to feel disheartened if later only one school goes to Jakarta,” she said. For information, the Four Pillars MPR Smart Quiz is one of the methods of socialising the values of the Four Pillars of the MPR, which include Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. The event is organised in collaboration between the MPR RI General Secretariat and the Riau Provincial Education Office. After the provincial selection stage, the winners will proceed to the grand final scheduled to take place in Jakarta in August 2026.
