Acting Mayor of Madiun Brief After 10-Hour KPK Examination on Maidi's Extortion Case

Observation by detikcom at the KPK building in Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Monday (11/5/2026), showed that Bagus completed his examination at 17.49 WIB. He was questioned for more than 10 hours since 07.39 WIB. “Ask the investigators,” Bagus said after the examination. When asked about the material of the examination and the number of questions, he gave a similar response. After that, Bagus left the KPK building by car. “Just ask the investigators, friends,” he said. KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo previously stated that Bagus was examined today. There were two other witnesses examined, namely Agus Mursidi (AM), Acting Head of Transportation for Madiun City Government, and Agus Tri Tjatanto (ATT), Secretary of PUPR for Madiun City Government. “In the continuation of the Madiun case investigation, today the investigators examined three witnesses, namely BP as Acting Mayor of Madiun, AM as Acting Head of Transportation, and ATT as Secretary of PUPR,” said KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Monday (11/5). In this case, the KPK has named Maidi as a suspect in alleged extortion and gratuity. Maidi is suspected of demanding fees from business permits in Madiun. The KPK seized Rp550 million in cash in the case involving Maidi. In total, there are three people named as suspects in this case, with the following identities: 1. Mayor of Madiun, Maidi; 2. Head of PUPR for Madiun City, Thariq Megah; 3. Private party, Rochim Rudiyanto.
