Acting Central Kalimantan Secretary Conducts Inspection and Evaluation of WFO-WFH Effectiveness
Palangkaraya - The Acting Secretary of Central Kalimantan (Kalteng), Linae Victoria Aden, is conducting continuous inspections and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of the work-from-office (WFO) and work-from-home (WFH) work pattern implementation. “We want a work pattern that is not only effective but also efficient. The use of office space must be well-regulated to avoid wasteful electricity consumption,” Linae explained in Palangkaraya on Monday. Following the official implementation of the WFO-WFH pattern in the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government, Acting Secretary Linae has carried out random and surprise inspections. Among others, Linae has visited the Cooperatives and SMEs Office, Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, Culture and Tourism Office, Energy and Mineral Resources Office, Transportation Office, Civil Service Police Unit, National Unity and Politics Agency, and Environment Office. During the inspection, she was accompanied by the Head of the Regional Personnel Agency and the Acting Regional Inspector of Central Kalimantan. “Our inspection focuses on three main aspects, such as ASN attendance discipline, the effectiveness of the WFO/WFH work system including energy efficiency, and ASN participation in supporting public information openness,” she stated. She emphasised ASN discipline as the main foundation in improving government performance. Therefore, she requested that ASN discipline be a joint concern. “Punctual attendance and commitment to carrying out duties are forms of responsibility as public servants,” she said. Furthermore, she conveyed the importance of energy efficiency in the office environment as part of the budget-saving policy. Additionally, Linae highlighted the strategic role of ASN in delivering development information to the public in a transparent and accountable manner. “ASN must actively provide information openly, accurately, and responsibly as a commitment to public information openness,” she stated. To date, the implementation of this work pattern is running well in the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government scope, and these inspections and evaluations are planned to be carried out periodically as an effort to maintain ASN discipline and work culture consistency.
