PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo), an independent credit rating agency recognised by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), has assigned an AA rating with a Stable Outlook to KAI Logistik (Kalog), while also maintaining its ‘Healthy’ status. This achievement serves as independent recognition of the company’s ability to maintain financial performance, corporate governance, and business sustainability, strengthening its position as a reliable logistics service provider amidst evolving industry dynamics and economic conditions.
Pefindo assesses a company’s ability to meet financial obligations based on various aspects, including business profile, corporate governance, financial position, and business prospects. In Pefindo’s rating scale, idAA is one level below the highest rating of AAA. This rating indicates that the company possesses a very strong ability to meet all long-term financial commitments and maintains high resilience against changes in business or economic conditions. Meanwhile, the Stable outlook suggests that the company’s credit profile is expected to remain maintained in the medium term, reflecting confidence in its future business prospects.
VP of Corporate Secretary of PT Kereta Api Logistik, Dwi Wulandari, explained that this achievement is the result of the company’s consistency in executing a business strategy oriented towards sustainable growth, prudent risk management, and the implementation of good corporate governance. “The AA rating with a Stable outlook, along with the ‘Healthy’ status, is an independent validation of KAI Logistic’s fundamental business resilience.
