PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia Tbk. (ACES), the company encompassing leading retail brands such as AZKO, ATARU, Pendopo, NEKA, as well as the subsidiary brand Toys Kingdom, recorded improved performance in the first quarter of 2026. The company’s profit for the early part of the year rose 18.3% to Rp 163.59 billion. The performance of the company, previously known as PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk., was boosted by the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr moments. Director of PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia, Gregory S. Widjaja, stated that this first-quarter performance resulted from the company’s consistent implementation of strategic initiatives in strengthening products, operational management, and store network expansion. “We observe an improvement in customer shopping interest and actions, which is an important indicator in maintaining growth,” he said through an official statement quoted on Sunday, 3 May 2026. In the first quarter of 2026, the company recorded a 10.1% growth in net sales to Rp 2.35 trillion. Consequently, net profit for the year grew by 18.3% from the same period the previous year. This performance was driven by a better Ramadan momentum compared to the previous year, reflected in improved transaction quality. Retail store growth also increased, as seen from the Same Store Sales Growth (SSSG) figure of 4.3%. The main contribution came from Jakarta and areas outside Jakarta in Java. Meanwhile, performance in areas outside Java Island, which continues to expand, recorded solid sales growth from regional developments. In terms of expansion, the company added four new stores throughout the first quarter of 2026, consisting of two AZKO stores and two NEKA stores. Thus, as of the end of March 2026, ACES’s store network reached 267 AZKO stores and 12 NEKA stores spread across various regions in Indonesia. Gregory stated that this addition is part of targeted steps to expand reach and strengthen presence in potential cities. The company targets adding a total of 65 to 80 new stores in 2026, consisting of 25-30 AZKO stores and 40-50 NEKA stores, as an effort to expand service coverage to various regions in Indonesia.
