Acer's revenues up 67%

SINGAPORE (Reuter): Acer Computer International (ACI), which is currently seeking a listing on the Stock Exchange of Singapore, said its revenues grew 67 percent to Singapore $402.8 million in the first half of 1995.

ACI is the regional headquarters for Taiwan's Acer Group, which announced earlier today a rise of 73 percent in net profit to US$150 million for the first half.

ACI said the good results were due to higher sales in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines and successful penetration of markets like Japan and India.
