Acer is expanding its business in Indonesia by strengthening the enterprise segment through Altos. This line introduces AI-based digital infrastructure solutions, private cloud, and security to meet the needs of corporations, government, and the education sector. This step demonstrates a strategic shift for Acer from a focus on PC devices to broader technology solutions. The company now targets modern computing needs that demand high performance, scalability, and security within a single ecosystem. Focus on the Enterprise Market Altos is a subsidiary of the Acer Group, established in 2017, and focuses on infrastructure solutions such as AI servers, workstations, storage, thin clients, and interactive displays. This portfolio targets various sectors, from companies and public institutions to data centres. Products and Solutions Director of Acer Indonesia, Riko Gunawan, stated that Altos is designed to address the needs of secure and flexible digital infrastructure. “Every server and infrastructure solution we provide is designed to deliver optimal performance, long-term stability, and flexibility for the needs of strategic sectors,” said Riko. Acer positions Altos as part of its B2B strategy to handle critical workloads, including in the banking, industrial, and government sectors.
