Acer Launches Swift Air 14 and Swift Spin 14 AI at Computex 2026
The era of artificial intelligence (AI) computing is expanding rapidly with the arrival of new hardware innovations. Acer has officially introduced its two latest flagship laptop lines, the Acer Swift Air 14 and the Acer Swift Spin 14 AI, at the prestigious Computex 2026 event in Taiwan. Both devices are designed to maximise the Windows 11 ecosystem through the support of dedicated Neural Processing Units (NPUs).
This move reinforces Acer’s commitment to providing more inclusive AI technology. James Lin, General Manager of Notebooks at Acer Inc., stated that the Swift Air 14 serves as a solution for a thin and powerful yet affordable laptop, while the Swift Spin 14 AI offers the flexibility of a convertible design with high-end AI performance.
The Swift Air 14 (SFA14-I31) is a highlight for users with high mobility. Weighing only 1.25 kg with a thickness of 12.9 mm, this laptop utilises a robust full aluminium chassis. Powered by the latest Intel Core Series 3 processors, the device is capable of delivering an overall performance of up to 40 TOPS.
One of its primary advantages is a battery life of up to 19 hours, supported by fast-charging features capable of reaching 50% charge in just 30 minutes. A 14-inch WUXGA screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth visuals for both productivity and entertainment.
For creative professionals, the Swift Spin 14 AI (SFSP14-I51T) offers flexibility via a 360-degree hinge. This laptop is powered by the top-tier Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, featuring an NPU with performance up to 50 TOPS. As a Copilot+ PC, this device is ready to handle complex AI workloads, such as heavy video editing and intelligent multitasking.
Security is also a priority, featuring a 5 MP IR camera, biometric fingerprint sensors, and Acer User Sensing technology, which can detect user presence to protect data from unauthorised access.
