AceKid Introduces One-Step Fresh Technology in Children's Milk

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The children’s milk product AceKid has been officially introduced to the public, offering a concept that uses fresh milk as its primary raw material through a One-Step Fresh processing technology. The manufacturer claims AceKid is the first children’s milk in Indonesia to use fresh milk with this method. The product’s launch underscores the importance of scrutinising raw materials and processing methods when selecting nutritional products for children. In its development, AceKid uses natural whole milk processed through a single integrated series, a method claimed to preserve the freshness and natural nutritional content of the milk. Beyond the processing technique, the product promotes a traceable milk source concept. The raw milk is reportedly sourced from regions around the 47th parallel north, characterised by fertile Chernozem soil, natural alkaline mineral water, and green pastures for dairy cows.

Professor Dr Rini Sekartini, a paediatric health expert from the University of Indonesia, stated that parents need to thoroughly understand the composition of children’s nutritional products before making a choice. “By understanding the composition more comprehensively, parents can make more appropriate and responsible choices for their children’s nutritional products,” she said. She noted that fulfilling a child’s nutritional needs cannot rely solely on one or two highlighted ingredients on the packaging; the balance of the composition and the quality of the base ingredients must also be considered. Attention to these aspects is increasingly important as child nutrition issues are not limited to stunting but also include other health problems such as dental caries and obesity.

During the product introduction, AceKid also highlighted its claimed simple composition. The product is said to be free from maltodextrin, synthetic flavours, sucrose, and corn syrup. AceKid also utilises Flash Dissolution technology, which reportedly allows the product to dissolve perfectly when prepared. The manufacturer stated that the raw materials meet several quality parameters based on European Union standards, including protein content and milk hygiene levels. Nonetheless, the selection of children’s nutritional products must still be tailored to each child’s individual needs and conditions. The importance of breastfeeding was also reaffirmed, with breast milk remaining the primary source of nutrition for infants, especially during the first six months of life. The use of formula or other nutritional products for infants should consider the child’s condition and needs, and parents are advised to consult healthcare professionals before making a choice. The presence of fresh milk-based products like AceKid is expected to encourage the public to pay greater attention to the origin of raw materials, composition, and processing methods when selecting nutritional products for children.
