Aceh workers off to Malaysia

BANDA ACEH: More than 215 female job seekers will be sent to
Malaysia this week for employment at an electronics factory in
the neighboring country.

It is part of Aceh's commitment to sending 3,000 workers to
Malaysia, chief of the provincial office of manpower Abdullah
Syukur Hutasuhut said yesterday.

He said so far the province had exported about 1,000 of those.
They are employed with Permua Elektronik, Vaque Brassiere, Datec
Engineering, Dyserast, Matsusita, Matchel and Thomson Visual.

Aceh also plans to send male workers for Malaysian plantation
projects, Antara reported. (pan)
