Aceh Tamiang Government Accelerates Finalisation of Data for Phase III Housing Stimulus Aid
The Aceh Tamiang Regency Government, through its Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), is accelerating the finalisation of by name by address (BNBA) data for phase III, which will serve as the basis for distributing housing stimulus aid to residents affected by hydrometeorological disasters.
Head of BPBD Aceh Tamiang, Iman Suhery, said in Aceh Tamiang on Wednesday that the government has once again entrusted the task of collecting data for housing stimulus aid under Decree Six (SK enam) to the datok penghulu (village heads) and their village apparatus as enumerators.
“We appreciate the datok penghulu and their staff who have played an active role in handling the housing stimulus data collection, from Decree One through Decree Five,” said Iman Suhery.
The effort was marked by a verification and validation meeting for prospective BNBA phase III recipients held at the Aceh Tamiang Regency Secretariat hall, attended by sub-district heads, sub-district compilers, and village government officials who serve as the frontline of data collection.
According to him, the involvement of village apparatus is crucial because they understand the conditions of the communities in their respective areas, enabling the verification and validation process to produce accurate and accountable data.
“This verification and validation is carried out so that data previously unrecorded can be accurately included. The datok penghulu will later be appointed through an official decree as part of the data collection process,” said Iman Suhery, who is familiarly known as Bayu.
Bayu added that the prospective BNBA phase III data is first submitted to compilers at the sub-district level before being forwarded to each datok penghulu for field verification.
Based on BPBD data, the number of prospective BNBA phase III recipients reaches 15,640 households, while 58,713 households have already been included in the recipient list through Decrees One to Five.
“The total recipients under Decrees One through Five amount to 58,713 households, while for prospective BNBA phase III there are 15,640 households to be verified and validated by the datok penghulu. We are targeting the entire process to be finalised by the end of August,” he said.
