Aceh students get aid from Denmark

SURABAYA: Acehnese students at the Surabaya Institute of
Technology (ITS), whose families were affected by the tsunami
disaster, have received a boost from the people of Allerod city
in Denmark.

"The Allerod government, led by Mayor Eva Nejstgaard collected
the money from Allerod's citizenry and then donated it to the
Surabaya Rotary Club for distribution to the students," said
President of South Surabaya Rotary Club, Wimphry Sywignjo.

The donations were dispersed on Friday to 17 students, each of
whom received scholarships valued at Rp 3.6 million (US$360) a
