Ahead of Eid al-Adha 1447 AH, PW ISNU Aceh has distributed sacrificial animals to several ISNU regional branches across Aceh’s regencies and cities.

PW ISNU Aceh Secretary Rahmad Syah Putra stated the initiative is part of efforts to strengthen social care and tighten relationships between organisation members and the community.

“Eid al-Adha teaches the values of sincerity, sacrifice, and social concern. Through this sacrificial animal distribution, PW ISNU Aceh aims to stand alongside the community and enhance organisational synergy at regency and city levels,” Rahmad said in a statement received on Thursday (28 May).

Rahmad explained that the distributed animals would be slaughtered by each PC ISNU and distributed to local members and needy communities.

He added that the kurban activity is not merely a religious tradition but part of a social movement being built by PW ISNU Aceh to ensure broader organisational benefits.

“This kurban moment serves as a means to strengthen kinship ties and bring shared blessings,” he said.

This year, sacrificial animal aid was provided to three ISNU regional branches: Aceh Tamiang, Langsa, and Simeulue.

PW ISNU Aceh hopes the programme will expand, enabling future sacrificial animal distributions to reach all ISNU branches across Aceh.

PW ISNU Aceh also expressed gratitude to donors, officials, and partners for supporting this year’s kurban programme, ensuring its smooth execution.
