Aceh PRR Task Force Distributes President Prabowo Subianto's Aid to Bireuen Residents

Jakarta (ANTARA) — The Aceh Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (PRR) Task Force handed over thousands of clothing items that constitute aid from President Prabowo Subianto to flood victims in Bireuen Regency.

The aid provided by the President includes 250 copies of the Quran, 500 prayer mats, 250 sarongs, 250 prayer dresses (mukena), and 5,000 pairs of trousers. Additionally, 300 jackets, 1,000 shirts, 1,000 sarongs, 1,000 assorted garments, and 500 headscarves.

“Inshallah, if there are no further obstacles after the Eid al-Fitr holiday of 1447 Hijriah, permanent housing construction will begin immediately,” said Safrizal ZA, Head of the Regional Command Post of the Aceh PRR Task Force, in a written statement after delivering the aid to flood victims on Monday (16 March).

Safrizal stated that in addition to these items, the task force also handed over 600 kitchen equipment aid packages.

All aid was delivered symbolically and witnessed by Bireuen Regent Mukhlis and Deputy Regent Razuardi Ibrahim, the regional secretary, and numerous department heads.

In his brief remarks at the Bireuen Pendopo, he conveyed that the post-disaster handling process would continue to be accelerated.

According to him, data collection is key to the speed of the subsequent process.

Disaster victim data based on name and address, he continued, must be compiled accurately to avoid misdirection.

The Head of the Regional Command Post of the Aceh PRR Task Force cautioned that data must be complete with the choice of communal permanent housing or individual permanent housing.
