Aceh highway widened to accelerate Sekolah Rakyat development

The National Road Implementation Agency (BPJN) in Aceh is widening a section of the national highway linking Calang, Aceh Jaya Regency, with Simpang Empat, Nagan Raya Regency. Acting Head of BPJN Aceh, Zulkarnaini, stated on Sunday that the expansion is being carried out on both sides of the road. The total length of the segment being upgraded is 3.35 kilometres, with completion targeted for early September 2026. The road improvement is intended to support the construction of a Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School) in the area.
