ACEH BESAR: A civil servant, identified as M. Ali Anzib, was shot
dead by two unidentified gunmen in Kayee Lheu village, Ingin Jaya
district.

Some 6,000 civil servants of Aceh Besar district pledged
allegiance to the Unitary State of Indonesia in a ceremony at
Jantho.

BIREUEN: At least 12,000 villagers have fled their homes since
Friday due to the clashes between military and rebels.

NORTH ACEH: At least 4,000 youths from North Aceh and Lhokseumawe
regencies gathered at Hiraq square to declare their allegiance to
the Unitary State of Indonesia.
