Accor Group pays social visit to PLN

YOGYAKARTA: Three hotels in the city from the Accor Group paid a
public relations visit to the state electricity company on
Wednesday, in a bid to improve cooperation between the bodies, a
hotel PR representative said.

Staff from the three hotels -- the Novotel Yogyakarta, the
Grand Mercure Phoenix and the Ibis Malioboro -- met with
officials from state electricity company PLN.

"This is part of a regular program to maintain good relations
with our supporting institutions," Novotel public relations
manager Erny Kusumastuti said.

The visit also introduced state employees to the new
management of the Grand Mercure Phoenix Hotel. The hotel is
scheduled to open on May 15.

During the visit, all the hotel employees, including the
hotels' general managers -- Bruno Guilloux of Novotel, Xavier
Cappelut of Grand Mercure and Yonto Wongso of Ibis Malioboro --
served PLN officials with coffee, tea and a selection of cakes.
