Accommodation for Hajj Services 2026: 277 Hotels, 45 Clinics, and 74 Kitchens in Saudi Arabia

The government, through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj), has confirmed accommodations for services such as lodging, meals, and transportation for Hajj pilgrims in 2026 or 1447 Hijriah.

Minister of Hajj and Umrah Mochamad Irfan Yusuf stated that preparations for Hajj 2026 services are nearly 100 per cent complete.

“Preparations for Hajj services are almost 100 per cent finished. The current stage is the final check of all services ahead of Hajj operations,” Irfan said during a press conference at the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) in Jakarta on Wednesday (15/4/2026), quoted from the Kompas TV YouTube broadcast.

In the Makkah area, accommodations are located in Jarwal, Misfalah, Raudhah, Syisyah, and Aziziah. In Madinah, all hotels are in the Markaziah area.

To ensure the health of the pilgrims, Kemenhaj has prepared 40 clinics in Makkah and five in Madinah.

The government, Irfan explained, is also collaborating with one of Saudi Arabia’s major hospitals, namely Saudi German Hospital.

“Each kloter consists of one doctor and one health worker,” Irfan said.

For transportation, the government has prepared buses for three purposes. The first is intercity buses to transport pilgrims on the Jeddah-Makkah-Madinah route.

The second purpose is selawat buses, which will serve pilgrim movements 24 hours a day to the Masjidil Haram.

The third is masyair buses, which will serve Indonesian Hajj pilgrims while they are in Arafah-Muzdalifah-Mina.

President Prabowo Subianto, Irfan revealed, has instructed that the safety of Hajj pilgrims be prioritised in every policy decision.

“The escalation of conflict in the Middle East is a concern for the government in organising the Hajj pilgrimage. The President has ordered that pilgrim safety is the top priority,” Irfan said.

“Therefore, all scenarios for organising the Hajj pilgrimage and risk mitigation plans must be based on that principle,” he added.
