Accident on JORR Bintaro Causes Monday Morning Traffic Congestion

An accident involving two vehicles occurred on the JORR W2S Bintaro toll road heading towards Ulujami on Monday (18/5/2026) morning. The incident caused traffic flow around the location to become congested.

According to PT Jasa Marga via their X account, the accident took place at KM 01+600 towards Ulujami, involving an Ertiga and a BRV in the left lane. “#Accident_JORR_W2S Bintaro KM 01+600 towards Ulujami, involving an Ertiga and a BRV in lane 1/left; currently being handled by officers,” wrote PT Jasa Marga on Monday.

Heavy congestion was observed on the Jakarta Inner City Toll Road from Cawang KM 00 to KM 02 towards Semanggi, as well as Cengkareng KM 32 to KM 31 towards Kapuk. To alleviate the density, contraflow lanes were implemented from GT Halim 3 KM 01+300 to Senayan KM 08+100.

“#InnerCityTollRoad After GT Halim 3 KM 01+300 - Senayan KM 08+100, CONTRAFLOW/right lane is IN EFFECT; please remain orderly in the queue,” Jasa Marga stated.

Meanwhile, on the Jagorawi Toll Road, contraflow was briefly implemented from Cimanggis KM 17+200 to Cipayung KM 08+800 before eventually being discontinued. However, congestion persists in the Benda KM 03 to KM 02 area towards Cengkareng due to high vehicle volume.
