Accelerating SOE Restructuring, Danantara Collaborates with Attorney General's Office and BPK
The government is taking concrete and transparent steps in executing its streamlining programme, aimed at the revitalisation and simplification of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs).
This government initiative involves several credible state institutions, including the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ministry of Law, the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), and the Audit Board (BPK), all operating within the SOE Streamlining Monitoring Team.
“This step is part of the effort to realise SOEs that are increasingly healthy, strong, and competitive,” said the Junior Attorney General for Intelligence, Reda Mathovani, who is part of the SOE Streamlining Monitoring Team, as quoted from his Instagram account on Monday, 6 July 2026.
The SOE Streamlining Monitoring Team held a strategic coordination meeting at Wisma Danantara last Friday. The meeting was attended by leaders from relevant institutions, including the Junior Attorney General for Intelligence, Reda Manthovani and his team, as well as the Deputy Minister of Law, Eddy Hiariej.
Through this strengthened synergy, Reda emphasised the commitment to ensuring that the SOE streamlining process creates enterprises that are healthy, strong, and clean.
“This meeting is intended to provide input regarding the streamlining of SOEs so that they are managed effectively, based on applicable legal procedures,” said Reda.
“Naturally, we want SOEs to become more effective and efficient in the future, as they represent one of the hearts of our national economy,” he added.
Reda further noted that through comprehensive oversight and cross-institutional collaboration, the streamlining process is expected to serve as a vital foundation for building SOEs that are healthier, more resilient, and globally competitive.
“This is also intended to strengthen the role of SOEs as drivers of national economic growth and creators of value for all the people of Indonesia,” he concluded.
