Accelerating SOE Restructuring, Danantara Collaborates with Attorney General's Office and BPK

The government is taking concrete and transparent steps in implementing a streamlining programme for State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). This effort involves several credible state institutions, including the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ministry of Law, the Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), within a dedicated SOE Streamlining Oversight Team. “This step is part of the effort to realise SOEs that are healthier, stronger, and more competitive,” said Junior Attorney General for Intelligence Reda Mathovani, who is part of the team, as quoted from his Instagram account on Monday, 6 July 2026. The SOE Streamlining Oversight Team held a strategic coordination meeting at Wisma Danantara last Friday. The meeting was attended by agency leaders, including Junior Attorney General for Intelligence Reda Manthovani and his staff, as well as Deputy Minister of Law Eddy Hiariej. Through this strengthened synergy, Reda affirmed the commitment to ensure the streamlining process creates SOEs that are healthy, strong, and clean. “This meeting was to provide input regarding the streamlining of SOEs so that they are organised effectively, based on applicable legal procedures,” Reda said. “We certainly hope that in the future, SOEs will be more effective and efficient because they are one of the economic hearts of our country,” he stated. Reda added that through comprehensive oversight and cross-institutional collaboration, the streamlining process is expected to become a crucial foundation for building SOEs that are healthier, more resilient, and globally competitive. “This is also to strengthen the role of SOEs as drivers of national economic growth and value creators for all Indonesian people,” he said.
