To support the acceleration of digital transformation of national land services, the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency has implemented the electronic certificate policy (sertel) in regional offices (Kanwil) or Land Offices (Kantah) across Indonesia. Among the regions that have carried out the transfer to sertel is the Tangerang Selatan City Land Office (Kantah Tangsel).

The implementation of sertel is part of bureaucratic reform and the modernization of the land administration system, aimed at increasing legal certainty, document security, and the quality of public service. Through this electronic-based system, land certificates are issued in digital format with layered security and stringent information security standards.

Head of Kantah Tangsel, Seto Apriyadi, said that the implementation of sertel is a strategic step toward delivering modern, transparent land services oriented toward legal certainty. With the integrated system, they are committed to providing faster, safer services and offering optimal protection for data and the public’s land rights.

“The process of transferring records from analog certificates to sertel will be carried out gradually, while continuing to uphold the principles of caution and protecting users’ personal data,” Seto told reporters in Tangsel on Wednesday (4/3).

With sertel, Seto added, the service of Kantor Pertanahan Kota Tangerang Selatan will become more adaptive to technological developments, provide stronger legal certainty, and increase public trust in land services.

“For residents who need information about sertel, they can contact the Tangerang Selatan City Land Office via social media channels or come directly to our office,” Seto concluded.
