ABRI cooperatives named the best

JAKARTA (JP): The cooperatives managed by several units of the
Armed Forces (ABRI) in East Jakarta have been declared the best
among cooperatives in the mayoralty.

This was contained in a decision issued by the head of the
East Jakarta branch office of the Department of Cooperative and
Development of Small-scale Traders in conjunction with the 48th
anniversary of the Cooperative Movement last weekend.

Among the ABRI-managed exemplary cooperatives are those
organized by Primkopad Kopassus, Primkopad Rindam Jaya and
Primkopad Bekangdam Jaya, the public relations section of the
Jakarta Military Command revealed in a statement yesterday.

The organizers of the cooperatives received letters of
appreciation from East Jakarta Mayor H. Sudarsono during a
ceremony marking the closing of all activities held to
commemorate Cooperative Day at Pulo Mas, East Jakarta, on
