About the Kawal Haji Application for Complaint Reporting: How to Use It
The Republic of Indonesia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj RI), through its Centre for Data and Information Technology (Pusdatin), has introduced the Kawal Haji application to improve the quality of Hajj pilgrimage services. This platform enables pilgrims and officials to submit complaints directly, quickly, and in an integrated manner.
According to the official Kemenhaj RI website, the Kawal Haji application can be accessed via kawal.haji.go.id. The application is designed with features that facilitate users, whether pilgrims or officials, in reporting various on-site issues, monitoring the follow-up of reports, and providing responses to existing complaints.
Uses of the Kawal Haji Application
Through the Kawal Haji application, pilgrims and officials can report incidents on the ground in real time, complete with location and supporting evidence. Here are some uses of the Kawal Haji application.
Users can create reports by selecting the complaint category, writing a title and description, determining the incident location on the map, and uploading up to five photos as supporting evidence.
There is a report search feature that allows users to view various submitted complaints, either by category or other parameters. For officials specifically, the search can be filtered more specifically by status, embarkation point, or flight group (kloter).
There is a complaint history menu that allows users to monitor the status of reports and view the responses provided.
