ABKI and ASMA Collaboration Opens Up Opportunities for Indonesian Nurses to Work in Saudi Arabia
Jakarta – The Indonesian Association of Job Brokers (ABKI) has forged a strategic partnership with the Saudi Arabian management consultancy firm Ayman Sajini Management Consulting (ASMA) to broaden employment opportunities for Indonesian professionals in the Kingdom. The collaboration was formalised through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) designed to facilitate the placement of professionals in a safe, legal, and regulation-compliant manner in both countries.
ABKI Chairman Habib Mohsein Badegel said there is currently a large demand for professionals in Saudi Arabia, particularly in the health sector. He added that the partnership is expected to be a strategic step in expanding access for Indonesian professionals to work in the international labour market.
“We see growing demand for professionals in Saudi Arabia, especially in the health sector. Through this collaboration, we hope to open more opportunities for Indonesian professionals to work and advance their careers on a global level,” Badegel stated.
One of the main sectors targeted by this agreement is the recruitment of Indonesian nurses who hold a Bachelor of Nursing to work in hospitals and various healthcare facilities across Saudi Arabia.
Beyond healthcare, opportunities exist in other fields such as engineering, construction, hospitality, industrial services, and facilities management.
Under the agreement, ABKI will coordinate the screening of Indonesian candidates through official recruitment agencies. ASMA, meanwhile, will coordinate with employers in Saudi Arabia to meet labour needs.
