Abdul Munir inducted BKS AKSI executive

Governor Surjadi Soedirdja, in his capacity as chairman of the
Indonesian City Intercity Cooperation Board (BKS-AKSI), on
Tuesday inducted former Central Jakarta Mayor Col. Abdul Munir as
secretary general of the semi-government agency.

Munir, who will serve until 1998, replaced Hafiz Fatchurrahman
who has been secretary general of the board since 1992.

Surjadi said that BKS-AKSI, a semi-official organization
dealing with urban development, will encourage private sectors to
jointly develop urban infrastructure. (09)
