ABC Kogen Dairy and TMS Consulting Strengthen Operational Control and Costing with ERP Transformation
PT ABC Kogen Dairy has officially transformed its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system by implementing SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in collaboration with TMS Consulting as the implementation partner.
Weny Verawaty, Head of IT and Business Support at PT ABC Kogen Dairy, explained that in the processed dairy industry, product quality and distribution speed are crucial factors in maintaining customer satisfaction and business competitiveness.
“This strategic move has drastically reduced the Cost of Goods Manufactured (COGM) calculation process, from previously taking up to 20 days to now just a matter of hours,” Weny said in a statement on Monday, 22 June 2026.
As a growing dairy manufacturing company in Indonesia with distribution reach across Southeast Asia, ABC Kogen Dairy previously faced several system challenges. These included data inconsistency, lengthy costing processes, and limited visibility over overall operations. This impacted efficiency and the company’s ability to consistently maintain product quality.
Through this transformation, ABC Kogen Dairy now has a more integrated digital foundation to unify production, quality control, costing, and distribution processes within a single digital platform. This aligns business processes and provides faster, near-real-time operational insights.
The transformation has also delivered tangible operational improvements on the production floor and in the warehouse. Enhanced product batch traceability now enables the company to implement First Expired, First Out (FEFO) inventory management, helping to reduce the risk of product write-offs due to expiration after implementation.
