The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) of West Java continues to roll out consolidation efforts. The latest annual consolidation of PKS West Java was held as an endeavour to unite steps, strengthen the structure, and affirm the direction of the party’s struggle.

Chairman of the PKS West Java Regional Executive Board (DPW), Iwan Suryawan, known as Abah Iwan, stressed that the consolidation held at the Grand Asrilia Hotel in Bandung on Saturday (22/8) was a moment for the gathering of PKS leadership ranks across West Java to strengthen organisational readiness in facing various future challenges.

The strength of a party, Abah Iwan explained, lies not only in the size of its structure, but in the shared vision, unity of steps, and the willingness of all cadres to carry out the mandate of the struggle.

“We may have different tasks, different regions, even different ways of working. But our hearts and goals must remain one, namely to bring benefit and provide the best service for the people of West Java,” he asserted.

He emphasised that consolidation is not merely a routine organisational agenda. More than that, consolidation is a space to re-strengthen understanding, improve coordination, and ensure every level of the structure moves in the same direction of struggle.

“Let us not be busy moving, but forget to ensure whether our movements are aligned. This consolidation is an endeavour to synchronise steps, close ranks, and ensure that PKS’s struggle truly delivers its benefits to the people,” he stressed.

Abah Iwan Suryawan also invited all ranks of the DPW and Regional Leadership Council (DPTD) of PKS across West Java to make the structure a living force, close to the community, and responsive to the people’s problems.

According to him, organisational strengthening must be directly proportional to improved service. A strong structure is not one that is merely neat on paper.

“A strong structure is one that is present when the people need it, that listens when the community complains, and that works when problems must be solved,” he said.

ORGANISATIONAL WORK

In the consolidation, the ranks of the PKS West Java structure also received reinforcement regarding the position, main duties, functions, and organisational governance in accordance with the PKS Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD-ART).

Abah Iwan hopes that all ranks of PKS West Java will increasingly understand their respective positions and responsibilities, so that organisational work can run more orderly, effectively, synergistically, and oriented towards the great goal of the struggle.

“We are not building an organisation for the sake of the organisation’s greatness alone. We are preparing ranks to work better, serve more widely, and bring hope to the community,” he said.

Abah Iwan invited all PKS West Java cadres to continue maintaining the spirit of brotherhood, unity, and devotion.

“Let us close ranks. Strengthen the structure. Unite our steps. Because West Java needs us who are not only good at speaking, but ready to work and be present for the people,” he explained.
