AAJI Strengthens Investment Diversification to Support Stability and Policy Holder Obligations
Harsya Wardhana Prasetyo, Head of Marketing and Communications at the Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI), explained that the life insurance industry continues to strengthen its financial position through prudent and diversified investment management.
“Total investment by the life insurance industry in 2025 reached Rp590.54 trillion, an increase compared to the previous year which was Rp541.55 trillion,” said Harsya during a press conference in Jakarta on Friday, 13 March 2026.
Meanwhile, investments in listed equities reached Rp128.72 trillion, mutual funds Rp74.07 trillion, corporate sukuk Rp53.45 trillion, and deposits Rp31.95 trillion.
“Given the long-term investment characteristics of the life insurance industry, this situation supports strengthening investment performance whilst maintaining the ability of companies to fulfil their obligations to policyholders,” Harsya explained.
