A Week of Hizbullah-Israel Conflict: 394 Dead Including 83 Children
Beijing - Xinhua/ANTARA - The death toll from Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon since 2 March has risen to 394 people, including 83 children and 42 women, whilst a further 1,130 have been injured, according to Lebanese Health Minister Rakan Nasreddine on Sunday (8 March).
Speaking at a press conference, Nasreddine stated that the injured comprise 254 children and 274 women, whilst noting that many strikes have targeted residential areas and civilian facilities.
He reported that numerous fatal incidents have been recorded in the past 48 hours in southern and eastern Lebanon. In one strike on the Bekaa Valley, six members of a single family, consisting of four children and their parents, were killed, whilst multiple other strikes across various towns and villages have caused significant casualties.
