A Warm Moment of Prabowo's Iftar with Rais Aam PBNU, Muhammadiyah Chairman, and MUI

President Prabowo Subianto hosted a gathering for silaturahmi and breaking fast (bukber) with leaders of Islamic organisations and heads of pesantren at Istana Merdeka, Jakarta. Prabowo was seen seated at a round table alongside the Chairman of the Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI), the Chairman of Muhammadiyah, and the Rais Aam of PBNU.

The moment was posted on Prabowo’s Instagram account on Thursday, 5 March 2026. The photo shows Prabowo at a circular table in a room.

In the photo, Muhammadiyah Chairman Haedar Nashir and MUI Chairman Anwar Iskandar sit on either side of Prabowo. In front of him sits the Rais Aam PBNU Miftachul Achyar. On the table were trays of food and takjil offerings.

For information, Prabowo invited ulama and leaders of Islamic organisations to a silaturahmi and breaking fast at Istana Merdeka today. Some 170 ulama and habaib were invited to the Istana.

‘(Agenda) Breaking fast together. With Pak Nusron, and then all the general chairs of the Islamic organisations, along with mubalig and the heads of pesantren, whose pesantren are large and network widely,’ said Anwar Iskandar on arrival at the Istana.
