A train derails, causing delays
SUBANG, West Java: At least eight trains were stranded at different stations on Sunday when the Fajar Utama business-class train derailed in Subang, West Java.
No casualties were reported in the derailment, which took place on Saturday.
The eight delayed trains were the Gaya Baru from Jakarta to Surabaya; the Bangunkarta from Jakarta to Jombang; the Argo Anggrek from Surabaya to Jakarta; the Argo Lawu from Surakarta to Jakarta; the Cirebon Express from Cirebon to Jakarta; and the Taksaka from Yogyakarta to Jakarta.
A spokesman for state-owned railway company PT KAI in Cirebon, Suhartono, said the eight trains were delayed for six hours. --JP
