NU Care-Lazisnu has once again strengthened its synergy in welfare programmes with the Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) of Indonesia through the implementation of the Ramadhan Blessing Programme for 1447 H.

This programme is part of BPKH’s commitment to optimising the benefits of the Permanent Community Endowment Fund (DAU) to support various religious social activities that directly impact society.

The programme’s launch was conducted solemnly at the BPKH office in Muamalat Tower, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/03/2026).

This collaboration represents a tangible manifestation of the strategic partnership in delivering benefits to society, particularly for those in areas with limited access to worship facilities and basic needs during the month of Ramadhan.

Head of the Welfare Programme Unit at NU Care-Lazisnu, Umdatul Qori, explained that the Ramadhan Blessing Programme is a collaboration that has been ongoing since 2020.

Over the past six years, the programme has been consistently implemented to reach communities in need, especially in remote areas.

“Every year, this programme is eagerly awaited by the community, particularly those in the remote corners of the country,” Qori stated during his remarks at the NU Care-Lazisnu office in Central Jakarta on Wednesday (18/3/2026).

Through this collaboration, he said, thousands of Quran copies as well as Eid gift packages will be distributed to support the worship needs and happiness of beneficiary families during the holy month.

He added that this year’s aid includes 1,000 Quran copies and 1,000 Eid gift packages containing prayer equipment for underprivileged families.

“The total value of the aid in this programme reaches Rp778 million, which is expected to help boost the community’s spirit of worship while bringing joy during Ramadhan,” he said.

Member of the BPKH Executive Board, Sulistyowati, expressed her hope that collaborative programmes like this can continue to provide broader benefits to society.

“May aid like this continue to be managed optimally so that its benefits are not only felt now but also sustainable and reach more communities in various regions,” she stated.

The distribution of aid under the Ramadhan Blessing Programme 1447 H will cover various regions in Indonesia, including Bali, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, East Kalimantan, Maluku, North Maluku, West Papua, Southwest Papua, South Papua, Central Papua, Central Sulawesi, and South Sumatra.

Through this collaboration, NU Care-Lazisnu and BPKH hope to continue delivering welfare programmes that not only assist society materially but also strengthen the spirit of worship and community togetherness during the holy month of Ramadhan.
