'A Sea of Taste' at Dermaga Food Court

Sailing into town to rescue Jakartans from crowded mall food
courts which offer patrons a disappointingly limited choice of
food is the recently opened Dermaga Food Court. Located in Mal
Pondok Indah, South Jakarta, one of the capital's premier
shopping centers in one of the most exclusive and safest areas of
the city, the Dermaga Food Court has been designed to satisfy
every taste and desire of the most discerning of customer.

Dermaga Food Court is brought to you by PT Puri Intirasa.
President Director Mr. Paulus Indra has said that PT Puri
Intirasa's target is to have 30 food courts opened by 2001. He
said that PT Puri Intirasa has chosen PT Procon Indah to market
the Dermaga Food Court in Mal Pondok Indah.

Opened on August 29 in a ceremony hosted by beloved child
actor/singer Joshua, the Dermaga Food Court offers 2,250 square
meters of specially designed taste. Dermaga was modeled after
waterfront cafes, much like the Singapore Boat Quay or the
eateries of the world-famous Pier 39 in San Francisco.

This effect is realized coconut trees, seagulls swaying
overhead, employees garbed in sailor uniforms and a traditional
ship in the middle of the food court, which doubles as the Sari
Segar drink and fresh fruit counter. Sinking back into the
comfortable chairs of the food court, you will feel like you were
lounging in a seaside cafe, with warm sand soothing your feet and
the rhythmic surf lulling you into such a state of relaxation
that you will feel the tension and troubles lifting from your
shoulders.

Naturally, the biggest draw of Dermaga and what sets it apart
from other food courts is the fare on offer. Dermaga is home to
26 counters featuring the best in traditional Indonesian fare and
choice offerings from around the world. You can satisfy your
appetite for delicious local food at a number of counters,
including Baso Afung, Agung Jaya, Mie Hiro, Griya Bali and Soto
Genton.

If you are feeling international, there is E & R Chinese Food,
Thai Corner and Asahi Teppanyaki. On those days when you just
have a taste for some good old-fashioned American fast food,
Arby's and Round Table Pizza will fit the bill. And these are
just a few of the choices at Dermaga Food Court, guaranteeing
that no matter what your culinary desire, satisfaction awaits you
at Dermaga.

True to its promise to offer Jakartans something special,
Dermaga provides more than food and drink to patrons. If you
enjoy watching TV while you eat, you will be pleased to find a
number of televisions in the food court tuned to Indovision.
There is also music in the air at Dermaga, including on
Saturdays, when diners will be treated to live performances. For
the kids, Dermaga Food Court offers a special program on Sundays,
with games and balloons for the youngsters.

Clearly, Dermaga Food Court has distinguished itself from the
typical mall food courts found across Jakarta. By offering a
diverse selection of fare in a unique and pleasing atmosphere, as
well as providing entertainment for the enjoyment of the entire
family, Dermaga Food Court has revolutionized the food court
concept.

Dermaga Food Court is designed and operated for the supreme
comfort of tired customers who need a break from the worries of
their day, providing a refuge for people to ease their hunger and
thirst with a delicious and unique bill of fare. Its motto says
it all: Dermaga Food Court -- A Sea of Taste.
