In welcoming Ramadan 1447 H, the National Mandate Party (PAN) rolled out five national programmes under the banner ‘Bantu Rakyat’ that target social and economic needs among communities during the holy month. The launches were announced by the Chair of PAN’s faction in the DPR RI Putri Zulkifli Hasan, accompanied by PAN’s General Secretary of the Central Executive Board Eko Hendro Purnomo and PAN Faction member of Commission XIII Edison Sitorus at a press conference held at the PAN Central Office on Tuesday, 3 June.

Eko explained that the five programmes include PANDAI, PANsar Murah Ramadan, Mudik Gratis Ceria, Tebar Hadiah Ramadan (THR), and a sharing activity for thousands of orphans. He said all these agendas are a reflection of PAN’s commitment to directly help the people.

“We inform you that during the Ramadan month in line with the PAN tagline ‘Bantu Rakyat’, PAN will help the people,” Putri Zulkifli Hasan was quoted as saying on Wednesday, 4 March.

The PANDAI programme targets students. This interactive educational competition tests the Islamic knowledge of senior high school or equivalent students. The event will be held across PAN’s DPW offices with regional qualifying rounds before a final at the DPP PAN on 14 March 2026. The winners will compete for prizes worth tens of millions of rupiah as well as educational scholarships.

The second programme, PANsar Murah Ramadan, is a budget-conscious shopping initiative to help the public obtain essentials at more affordable prices. It will run during the recess break for the PAN DPR RI faction and will be conducted simultaneously in various regions. Through a ‘redemption’ scheme, residents can obtain basic food parcels at affordable prices, with some regions allowing payment as low as Rp10,000.

“During the holy month of Ramadan we continue to share, help one another, and carry out mutual cooperation. This aligns with the directive of PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan to engage directly with the community to deliver real benefits,” Putri Zulkifli Hasan said.

The third programme, Mudik Gratis Ceria, will transport homebound travellers on 15 March 2026 using bus and rail networks to several cities in Java and Sumatra. Through this programme, PAN aims to help people travel home safely, comfortably, and free of charge.

The fourth programme is Tebar Hadiah Ramadan (THR). This interactive initiative will be conducted via live social media broadcasts throughout the month. Members of the public can participate in challenges and short quizzes to win daily necessities packages. The programme is expected to strengthen social solidarity while boosting local economic activity.

The fifth is distributing to thousands of orphans on 5 March 2026, as part of efforts to bring happiness to children ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Putri stressed that all the programmes are designed so that the benefits are truly felt by the public during Ramadan. “In essence, we hope that during Ramadan, it will truly be beneficial and felt by the people,” she said.
