A Peek into Transjakarta's Schedule Changes During the Eid Holiday
PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is adjusting its operational patterns to anticipate the surge in public movement during the Eid holiday. “This step is a follow-up to the Eid Operational Plan Letter 2026 from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Agency to support the smooth flow of mudik, return journeys, and access to tourist locations,” said PT Transportasi Jakarta’s President Director Welfizon Yuza in a written statement on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.
The period of operational pattern adjustments for Transjakarta will run from 13 March to 29 March 2026.
Here are the details of Transjakarta’s operational changes during the Eid holiday.
Reactivation of Route 10C
The route connecting Tanjung Priok Port–Tanjung Priok will operate from 13–29 March 2026 with operational hours adjusted to the ship arrival schedules.
Extension of Service Hours
Operational hours for routes passing through intercity KAI stations such as Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station, as well as transit stations, will be extended until 23:59 WIB from 25–29 March 2026.
Night Transport Service (AMARI)
24-hour bus operations will remain available on the main corridors, namely corridors 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14.
Special EID Routes
Transjakarta will open assistance routes (EID1 – EID5) connecting Pulo Gebang Terminal to various other terminals in Jakarta such as Senen, Tanjung Priok, Kampung Rambutan, Pasar Minggu, and Kalideres, from 00:00–05:00 WIB on 25–27 March 2026.
Adjustments to Idul Fitri Services
Transjakarta will start operations later than the regular schedule on the first day of Idul Fitri, which is 21 or 22 March 2026. Buses will begin operating at 09:00 WIB to give drivers and field staff the opportunity to perform Idul Fitri prayers.
During this period, Transjakarta will implement Eid fares. Customers will be able to enjoy Transjakarta services at a special rate of Rp 1 on Eid day itself.
Tourist Area Services
During the Eid holiday period (18–24 March 2026), Transjakarta will prepare routes to major tourist spots in Jakarta. The operational hours for regular services will run from 05:00–23:59 WIB. Meanwhile, tourist bus operations will run from 10:00–17:00 WIB. Here are the routes to major tourist spots in Jakarta:
Ancol: Routes 5 and 1W.
Ragunan: Routes 6, 6A, 6B, 6V, 5N, 6N, and 7E.
TMII: Route 7D.
Kota Tua & Monas: Routes 1, 2, 2A, 3, 3H, 12, 1A, 12B, and others.
PT Transportasi Jakarta assures that the implementation of these special Eid services will not disrupt the performance and quality of existing regular routes.
