Jakarta, 18 March 2026 – The tradition of mudik represents the peak of happiness during Ramadan for many people. The journey home to one’s hometown, gathering with family, and sharing joy with relatives becomes a long-awaited moment throughout the year. Complementing the #RamadanLebihBerkah programme series, PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (“Danamon”) has collaborated with RTV, one of Indonesia’s leading television stations, to present the Mudik Bareng Danamon programme. This initiative forms part of Danamon’s commitment to accompany Indonesians in celebrating the special moment of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah. Additionally, Mudik Bareng Danamon provides free mudik facilities for selected customers to support smooth and safe journeys ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.

Ivan Jaya, Consumer Funding & Wealth Business Head at Danamon, explained, “Ramadan is always a special moment for Indonesian society. Understanding the importance of this moment, Danamon strives to bridge distances and provide practical solutions by presenting the Mudik Bareng Danamon programme, while also introducing the ease of transacting using D-Bank PRO. We extend our thanks to RTV for their support in realising this Mudik Bersama programme, as well as to the participants who have taken part. We hope the participants can undertake their mudik smoothly, arrive safely at their destinations, and reunite with their beloved families.”

The Mudik Bareng Danamon initiative is offered to employees of Danamon’s corporate customers who utilise Danamon’s payroll payment solutions, as well as selected Danamon employees who have conducted at least three financial transactions on D-Bank PRO worth a minimum of Rp10,000 per transaction during the period of 20–27 February 2026.

In its implementation, Danamon has also collaborated with its strategic partners, PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia Tbk and PT Home Credit Indonesia, to expand the reach of benefits by providing opportunities for employees from both partner companies to join as mudik participants by making financial transactions in accordance with the applicable terms. PT Zurich Asuransi Indonesia Tbk also provides support in the form of Personal Accident Insurance to offer protection for all Mudik Bareng Danamon participants throughout their journey. Besides being part of the benefits programme for Danamon customers utilising the payroll solution, the mechanism of this initiative is designed to encourage the use of D-Bank PRO in daily transaction activities, while also providing appreciation to loyal customers who actively use Danamon’s digital services.

The departure of mudik participants takes place on the day heading to two main destinations: Solo and Yogyakarta. Danamon provides seven buses serving three different routes to ensure the comfort of the participants’ journeys. The selection of diverse routes aims to provide flexibility for participants according to their final destinations, as well as to ensure even distribution so that the journey can proceed comfortably and smoothly.

Andreas Kurniawan, Chief Digital Officer at Danamon, added, “This joint mudik initiative has dual positive objectives. On one hand, it provides social benefits for those who may need assistance with their mudik journey, especially amid rising transport costs ahead of the holiday, while also promoting financial literacy and inclusion as well as the use of D-Bank PRO for daily transactions, so that customers can experience the ease of the digital banking services offered by Danamon. On the other hand, this initiative also represents one of the benefits that Danamon provides to its loyal customers, particularly in this case corporate customers who utilise Danamon’s payroll solution to support their businesses.”

This initiative aligns with Danamon’s vision to continue innovating in delivering a better, easier, and closer banking experience to the daily lives of Indonesian society, especially during important moments such as Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
