A Look at BSI (BRIS) and Antam's (ANTM) Strategy to Boost the Gold Business

PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRIS) and PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), known as Antam, are collaborating to strengthen their bullion banking role by creating a BSI & Antam Pop-Up Booth at BSI Tower, Jakarta, from 2–5 June 2026.

This synergy aims to provide convenience for customers to purchase physical Antam gold directly at the event location, through both online reservations and walk-in visits. As a primary requirement for purchasing physical gold at this exclusive event, customers must hold a BSI Emas account, which is accessible via the Byond by BSI application.

During the event period, new customers who open a BSI Emas account through Byond by BSI and make an initial purchase of at least Rp200,000 using a promotional code provided by marketing staff will have the opportunity to receive a cashback of Rp50,000, subject to availability during the event period.

Meanwhile, existing customers simply need to top up their BSI Emas balance by a minimum of Rp200,000 to be eligible to transact and purchase physical Antam gold. For smooth verification, customers are required to bring their original physical National Identity Card (KTP).

“Gold is a unique ecosystem within BSI. In addition to being saved as an investment instrument, gold can also be minted into physical forms starting from 2 grams of Antam gold. If there is an urgent need, the gold can be pawned, and for customers who wish to hold large amounts of gold, instalment facilities through financing are also available,” said BSI Director of Sales & Distribution, Anton Sukarna, as quoted by SWA.co.id from a written statement in Jakarta today.

Anton explained that the bank intends to expand the gold investment market segment so that more members of the public become familiar with and begin investing in gold easily. With the BSI & Antam booth collaboration, customers can experience more than just one gold investment experience, ranging from opening a BSI Emas account to purchasing physical Antam gold directly on-site.

This collaboration reaffirms the commitment of BSI and Antam to accelerate Sharia financial inclusion in Indonesia through safe and trusted investment instruments.
