A Decade of CICIL: Celebrating Transformation and Commitment to Supporting Productive Sectors

Jakarta - PT CICIL Solusi Mitra Teknologi (CICIL) has officially commenced a series of events celebrating its 10th anniversary under the theme ‘A Decade of Growth’. The milestone serves as a moment to reflect on the company’s journey while reinforcing its commitment to providing inclusive funding access for Indonesian citizens and business actors. Since its establishment in 2016 as an education financing platform, CICIL has continuously evolved to meet the needs of the public. In response to changing economic dynamics and the increasing need for financing in productive sectors, the company transformed in 2023 to focus on Supply Chain Financing and Ecosystem Financing to support real sector growth. Over the past decade, CICIL has channelled more than Rp4 trillion in funding, serving over 62,000 borrowers and supported by more than 1,000 lenders. This journey forms the foundation for the company to continue expanding its contribution to improving financial inclusion while supporting Indonesia’s economic growth. CICIL Director Oki Surya stated that the past decade has taught the company that public needs will continue to change, prompting CICIL to transform to remain relevant, from opening access to education financing to now supporting the growth of productive sectors. The ‘A Decade of Growth’ theme serves as a momentum to review this journey while preparing steps for the next decade. Looking ahead, CICIL will expand its funding reach to more real sectors, innovate its products, and enhance services for its users. The company hopes this anniversary moment will not only be a celebration of its journey but also an invitation for all stakeholders to jointly create a funding ecosystem that is inclusive, productive, and sustainable for Indonesia. The anniversary celebrations will include special funding promotions for users, social media campaigns, and will conclude with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity.
