A Comprehensive Guide to Participating in the Luxury Goods Auction at BPA Fair 2026

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - BPA Fair is an exhibition as well as an asset auction organised by the Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) of the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office (Kejaksaan RI). This year, BPA Fair 2026 features 308 assets across 245 lots. The items up for auction range from luxury cars such as Rolls-Royce and BMW, branded bags, gold and diamond jewellery, precious metals, high-value paintings, classical musical instruments, to exclusive home décor.

For members of the public interested in taking part in the auction, the process can be conducted online via the government’s official platform. Here are the steps.

Registration can be performed using a computer, laptop, or smartphone, making it flexible to access from anywhere.

Before starting registration, participants need to prepare several important documents, such as KTP, an active phone number, e-mail address, NPWP, and a personal bank account number.

Once all data is ready, participants simply access the registration page and follow the instructions until the account is created. This process serves as the main gateway to participate in all auctions available at BPA Fair 2026.

From Kompas.com observations, on Tuesday (19/05/2026), BPA Fair also provides a booth that can assist visitors to register for auction accounts and to bid.

Each item is accompanied by detailed information, from photos, description of condition, bid limit, to the amount of security deposit that must be paid.

Participants can also choose the Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) that organises the auction.

At this stage, participants need to ensure identity data, NPWP, and refund account are correctly filled before indicating participation.

This stage is important because data errors can hinder the refund process if the participant does not win the auction.
