A Brilliant Leap: Jambi City Government Achieves 'Very Good' Investment Performance Rating

The Jambi City Government has achieved a prestigious national milestone through its Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), which was awarded a ‘Very Good’ rating in the 2026 Performance Assessment (PENKIN). This recognition was officially ratified via the Decree of the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 204.S of 2026.

Jambi City achieved an impressive score of 86.622 in the city category, marking a significant increase of 6.576 points from the previous year’s performance of 80.046. This surge positions Jambi as one of the regions with the best licensing service quality in Indonesia, outperforming several major cities including Yogyakarta, Makassar, Depok, Bogor, South Tangerang, and Malang.

This achievement reflects the Jambi City Government’s commitment to providing high-quality, effective, transparent, and business-friendly services. The award also confirms the success of the city in cultivating a conducive investment ecosystem through an integrated and digital-based licensing system.

The Mayor of Jambi, Dr. Maulana, expressed his appreciation, stating that this achievement indicates that the city’s efforts are on the right track. He emphasised his commitment to providing services that are fast, easy, transparent, accountable, and capable of providing legal certainty to the public. According to Maulana, the 2026 PENKIN results serve as a crucial indicator for building trust among the public and business actors regarding the investment climate in Jambi.
